Our Codes of Practice
Our Codes set the standard for fair and transparent business in the automotive sector, giving consumers confidence and holding businesses accountable to high levels of service.
The Motor Ombudsman operates four Motor Industry Codes of Practice which are all approved by the Chartered Trading Standards Institute’s (CTSI) Approved Code Scheme (ACS).
Accreditation to the Codes, ensures that businesses are operating to the highest standards and give consumers peace of mind that they are using a business they can rely on.
You can find out more about each Code of Practice by visiting the relevant pages. You’ll also be able to find out which businesses are accredited to each of our Codes.
